Covid-19 Health & Safety Measures

We are delighted to be able to welcome guests back to Middle Colenso Farm. However, the ongoing coronavirus situation means that we have had to make some changes to the way in which we operate the cottages. These measures are designed to minimise the risk of transmission of Covid-19 to both our guests and housekeeping staff. Please find below further details regarding these measures.

Cancellation Policy

If your booking dates are affected by either Middle Colenso going into lockdown or your area going into lockdown then we would refund all monies paid or transfer your booking to another date. Please be aware that there is an administration fee of £15. However, if you wanted to cancel because a member of the party contracted Covid or has to self-isolate we would only allow cancellation on our normal terms and conditions as these are insurable risks.

Guest Health

Please do not travel if you are unwell or demonstrating any Coronavirus symptoms such as a high temperature, persistent cough and loss of taste/smell. If you develop symptoms during your stay we ask that you go home immediately to seek a test and self-isolate. Please inform us so that we can take the appropriate action.

Test and Trace

Each of our cottages has its own QR code which you will find with the laminated guest information on the coffee table. If you are using the NHS app you can scan the code to check in.

Cleaning

We are members of PASC (the Professional Association of Self Caterers) and are following their cleaning protocols which are the benchmark standard for the self-catering industry. You can view the full cleaning protocols here. In addition we have Visit England's Good to Go Covid-19 certification and have signed up to Sawday's Clean & Safe Charter.

Check-in

Contactless check-in procedures are already in place via the key safe next to the front door of each cottage.
Check-in is at 3pm and check-out is at10am.
