With their peaceful location, stylish interiors and exotic gardens, we've worked hard to make our holiday cottages special so we're delighted to announce that all three have joined Sawday's collection of Special Places.
Established 25 years ago by Alastair Sawday, the company began as a publisher of travel guides. Today, Sawdays' is a prestigious online travel company that seeks out stylish, quirky and authentic accommodation. All properties in the portfolio are thoroughly inspected before being accepted.
"When we inspect places to stay, we look for the interesting, imaginative and hospitable. We're swayed by authenticity, generosity and gastronomy deeply rooted in the soil. These handpicked collections are some of our favourites, curated by us to inspire your next journey," states the website.
The Old Granary, Carter's Croft and Smugglers Lane each has its own unique personality but all three cottages share certain features: well-considered design, a private outdoor space and thoughtful touches such as home-made scones and jam on arrival. There's a shared boules court and an outdoor shower and, of course, a fantastic location close to everything the far west of Cornwall has to offer.
